At Summit Dermatology, we have a variety of treatment options to restore full hair. One popular method we use is Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injections. Platelets in blood are rich in nutrients and growth factors that can stimulate and support healthy hair growth. Platelets are extracted from the patient’s own blood and injected directly throughout the scalp, and the procedure requires no downtime. Generally, 3 treatments are needed 3 months apart to see new growth of hair.
